WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A bodyguard for boxing promoter Don King
has sued Mike Tyson, alleging the former heavyweight champ punched him
twice during a scuffle and broke a bone in his face.
Isadore "Izzy" Bolton, 44, of Boynton Beach, sued Tyson for
compensatory damages of more than $15,000 and expects to seek punitive
damages as the suit progresses, said Bob Montgomery, an attorney for
Bolton. The lawsuit was filed Friday in Palm Beach.

According to the lawsuit, Bolton was in a car escorting Tyson and the
boxer's entourage on May 3 when he lost track of Tyson's car. He doubled
back to find Tyson standing in the median of Interstate 95 and asked
staff to get the boxer back in his car.

Tyson, 37, eventually jumped down from the barrier and became "more
aggravated and more annoyed" with Bolton, who was inside his car, said
John McGovern, another lawyer for Bolton.

"The next thing he knew, Tyson was at his open window, had opened the
door and punched Mr. Bolton twice in the face," McGovern said.

Bolton suffered a broken bone above his left eye, Montgomery said.

Bolton didn't report the incident to police because he didn't want to
embarrass King or Tyson, Mongomery said.

Neither Tyson's manager, King or Bolton returned calls Saturday
seeking comment.
